Well we had 2 pinewood derby's one on Friday night. But

I said your car is not ready. So he called Jonathan twice to come

home and he did and so they sanded the car. I told him that I did not know

that it would be done. So we had dinner and then I said we can

go try and see if it will go on the track after the boys are done. But

a Lady saw us and knew Jacob would like to race so they weighed

the car and put quarters on for the weight. So therefore the quarters are

glued and no paint on the car. Well he raced a few cars and ended up coming

in 2nd place over all and then we had the race on Tuesday night. And he ended up winning the whole race. He was so excited. It was a great night.

So I love Katie Evans that I wanted and bought her book for myself for Christmas. I totally want to go to her photo class in Las Vegas or SLC.

Just reading her book and learning from her blog I have learned so much I would love to meet her personally. She seems so much fun and very creative. I love creative people. So yes this another wish this year is to become a better photographer.

Jacob got a photo book all about his baptism.

The boys love their new Hess trucks. This is

always a favorite gift.

Dad was quite surprised about his new hd t.v.

This year Christmas landed on Sunday so Emma, Drew and Jonathan

went to church. They said it was a great service. Jacob coughed all

night so he and I stayed home and we made breakfast and then we opened

the other presents when everyone got home. We had a great Christmas.

Why does everyone have money do you ask. Aunt Beth puts money in

Easter Eggs for Christmas so that we will remember Christ birth and

his death and his Resurrection. The kids love hiding the eggs from each

other and we sing Christmas songs they get louder or softer if they are

close or if they are far away.

Laura was the big winner with 5 dollars. She is super excited.

For the Christmas Pagenat Jacob decided to be a camel or a donkey.

Trevin needed to ride him.

So did Laura. Jacob was a great sport.

Emma was the angel.

Dad read the story from the scriptures.

Drew was a wiseman. We had a great night.

I also found this cute tag and we gave these to Drew and Jacob friends and J work friends.

I saw these last year from Sarah home so I had to do this for Emma's friends they turned out great.

More Time with the Wagners

Emma loves spending time with Zoey and Whitney.

We loved going to the M&M store.

Zoey is so cute. She talked to all of us. We love

Las Vegas

On the way back from San Diego we were able

to stop and stay with the Wagners. They are

such a cute family. Plus it is always fun to see my

sister and her children. She is going to have that

baby on the 29th. I am so excited. I love babies.

This bear was made out of carnations.

Zoey is just so happy and so cute.

We went outside and saw the watershow.

San Diego Temple

I loved seeing the Temple as we drove past on the freeway. I

was so excited that we were able to stop and see it. The kids

loved it. It was just beautiful. I love how the Temple

was lite up with Christmas lights an the Giant Nativity

sets that were on the ground. I love how white and

pretty this temple is. It was so good to finally see this

Temple first hand. I made a cross stich a few years ago

and did not really understand the spires until I saw them

they were amazing. We love to see the Temple

Lego Land

We had a great time in Lego Land. The mini land was our favorite. We went on a few rides

but it was busy with lots of people and lots of lines. We loved going

and being scientist for the class that was also fun. The kids

loved driving and looking at all the things that were built out of legos.

The funny thing we saw was people standing in line to go play

in the snow. We do that all the time. We just loved being

in the sunshine. We had an awesome day.

USS Midway

This was one of our favorite things we did . And that was to go on

the USS Midway. We got our headphones on and did a self guided

tour. It was great you would punch in the number and they

would tell you everything you needed to know that would happen

in that room or about the airplane. The kids had a great time

learning and seeing inside this huge ship. It was amazing about how

many people worked and lived on the ship. And what kind of food

you would get depended upon your rank. This was a great day

and we learned so many things.

Mormon Battalion in San Diego

We went to the Mormon Battalion because Lisa Haggerty was
serving her mission here and she talked so much about it.
And the Jessen familycame here to and said it was great.
So we stopped by and we loved it. It was so modern and
nicely done. I learned so much about the pioneers.

The kids had a fun time watching and listening and asking
questions. This was a great way to start off our vacation.
This was our first stop.

We were able to get away a few days this December to San Diego.

The weather was amazing and we had a great time staying

Cove Ward Christmas in Nauvoo party

This year Christmas party was Christmas in Nauvoo so the ward members went around to different rooms and went to the bakery,blacksmith shop and the candle shop and then they stopped at the Temple where I took people picture. It was a great night and people had a lot of fun.

We were given these magnets to remind us about our fun night. We also heard stories from the Bishop and sang some Christmas songs and eat a great meal.

The Bishop read us some stories.

Jacob got hold of the camera and went around taking many pictures.

Cooper just had his birthday and he was an excited little boy.

This was a great party and food was excellent.

Emma and Dallie sang a Duet "Silver Bells" they did such a great job. These girls have a good time when they get together.

Even Jewley and her son sang the Christmas Shoes. They did a great job.

Emma has loved being in In-Tune she has loved meeting new kids and loved being in plays and singing and learning all the daces. Plus she has made some excellent friends. This was a fun night for us to watch her sing and Dance.

Feel The Thunder

Jacob is playing basketball under the Junior Jazz and his team is Thunder. He has now had his 2nd game. He seems to be enjoying himself playing basketball. I love to watch him play. He is fun to watch and he has a great time with his team mates.

Snow Day

You have got to love when we have Snow. We got 14 inches of Snow in about 3days. The boys loved shoveling and playing in the snow. It was so powdery that you could not make a great snowman. But they loved running and being outside in the snow. And it is very cold outside.

Drew Legacy Report

Drew decided that he would like to call up Grandma Barbara and found out more about her life and her side of the family. So he did a phone and email interview with her and asked her many questions. And he also did it on Talesin Hughes. I will find the report later and type it in. He did a great job and had a great time learning about family history. He also learned that he is related 2 boys in his class from the Heaton side.

Snowman

I saw this on pinterst and I knew I had to make it. And the best part was that I had all the supplies except a frame that I got at the dollar store. This was the fastest and easiest project it just used one glove that you got off the fingers and then you use scrapbook paper and little pom pom for the eyes and a sharpie to make the mouth. I love how it turned out.

So when Becky asked me to take some pictures of her she always wanted me to take some of her family. I could not refuse this family lives right next door. And they are the best. We love each one of them we are so excited to see each one of them grow up and get married and have children. This was tons of fun and lots of learning for the next time. SUU basketball

We decided to go to the SUU b-ball game. Drew had 2 friends go with us. With our tickets we were to get hot dogs but they ran out so we the kids ended up with these huge bbq beef sandwiches. SUU did a great job and even won. It was fun to the Wagners and Nana came along with us. Zoey was very shy around Thor. And no Thor is not picking his nose he is saying #1.

Emma making pies

For one of Emma YW projects she wanted to help make the pies so Nana helped her make the lattice crust and homemade apple pie. And for the bottom we made the crust with cinnamon rolls. She had a great time in doing this project. The thing we all learned with the apple pie that the pie had to much juice and we put the cherry and the apple together. Which flowed over into the oven. Which did not make the oven to happy. This made for a great lesson. Make sure you bake one pie at a time and clean the oven before you do a lot of baking.

Roller Skating

Drew was invited to a skate party. Jacob and I also came in and skated. The boys had a great time skating. This was their first time. They had a blast. I even got on some skates. It reminder me when I was younger and would go skating with my Aunts in the summer time. We would have so much fun. I even got a pair of skates for my birthday. So this was a very fun activity to go skating. Emma came later that night. She is now a pro she has been about 4 times. And just loves it. They love the artwork on the walls and they loved all the music.

I love Drew creativity. I got some shutter fly balloons and after my party he decided that he needed some more friends. He found the clothes and he drew on the faces. I love that he is always so creative.

wii outdoor challenge

This is Sarah and Dan against each other.

When I got the wii I found a super fun game called outdoor challenge. Well we told the Bryant family about it and they have the game to. So when we get together for a period of time and not to tried we have a challenge with each other. And we are in a tournament. Everyone gets to play. And we have a good time cheering each other on.

Kate and Savannah. Savannah did a great job this was the first time she every played the game.

Dylan is the master he has now won every time we play each other.

We all have a good time watching each other. It usually comes down to Jonathan and Dylan for the winner and Dylan wins. We need to practise when everyone goes home.

I got a few people doing service this year. Jonathan and Dan on their day off

cutting a limb off of Grandma Great tree. Way to go Jonathan and Dan.

My mother is my hero on service. She even made a whole big sun center on the campus of CEU and Utah State . Where she has taught many clasees on service and has gone many a time to the res to build ramps and other things. She is the winner of the service that she does for so many people.

Emma has been serving by handing out oranges at a race. Or help tend her

brothers or help me when ever I need it.

On Saturday Emma had her In Tune Halloween Performance . It was so great. Emma just loves to dance and sing. So this was just fun to dress up like a witch.

She has made so many friends with this group.

Project Runway

So one of my favorite reality shows is project Runway. I loved it. This season has been very interesting. First is that Heidi Klum loved one of the designers and was wanting her to win the whole time and she won. The best dress that I liked from the winner was The first one that came out of the runway. And that was it. The rest looked like you would wear if you were going on a cruise or going to the beach. My favorite was Victor. But he did not win, his sewing was amazing. Josh was crazy and dramatic like always. The first dress was his best look. Kim was okay but not my favorite.

ZIon Field Trip

I was able to go with the 3rd graders to their Field Trip down to Zion's it was beautiful. We were able to go see a movie at the Imax. The movie was Tornado alley it was great.

I was so glad to be with Jacob and see him with all of his 3rd grade friends. It also was great to be able to take pictures for the yearbook for all the 3rd graders.

The weather was just beautiful. Jacob slowed down just a little so that I could take his picture.

We were able to see a few hikers go hike up the river to go see the Narrows.

We were able to see lots of Deer. And lots of chipmunks. We had a great day.

So for our Activity Day we got together with the Dads and did pumpkin carving. The girls had a great time with their Dad's . They had a good time eating treats and eating mummy hot dogs. The girls even got a few prizes for coming to this activity. We have great girls and we had a good night.

So since Drew and Jacob are in the thunderbird club it has been so fun for them they have been in a parade they get to run out with the football team. And for the basketball team they got to cheer them on when they ran out. Then they got to play tug a war with each other. They had such a great time.

Coming back to us. They had a great time.

David and Nate came with us they had a great time. We also got ice cream from Maggie Moo's we all had a good time.

Running Into Fall

Shout for Joy we are going to Camp.

When I think of action I just think how busy we are running from one place to the next or just sitting for a moment. Do we actually rest we just keep on moving. Just as we were watching the fireworks an amazing thing was happening and yet cars were still driving bye not even slowing down. Or how fast we move from season to season. Or how fast time goes and we are looking forward to do something with friends and family and before you know it . We have done the activity and it is something else that we are doing. Life is all about action.

They had a great time. I had a good time watching them carve and hanging out with friends. Then the boys decided to spray paint their pumpkins. Sorry no pictures as of yet of the finished pumpkins. We had a really good night.

Soccer Teams

We have been so busy with Soccer season this fall. We had a great time watching the children play. They all did a great job. Jonathan was a great coach for Jacob team. Jacob team had a hard time keeping their players we lost 2 to football and one to broken arms. So it was hard to play the boys were worn out by the time the game was over they each had to play the whole game. At one game we had to use Drew as the Goalie because we did not have enough players.

Drew's team was a great team to watch they had so much fun at their practise they all got along so well. Which showed because they improved at each game. And they had a good time.

These girls were awesome a few of them are in my achievement days. So it was fun to see them play. And also I took their team pictures which was a lot of fun to do.

We were watching Cooper and we went to his last game and they needed their pictures taken so I took a few. They were so cute and Cooper even scored a goal he was so excited he now made a goal for his mom and his dad.

Emma did a great job getting back into soccer after a year off. She had a great time and did a great job. We are glad it is all over because it is now getting very cold outside.

The Great Pumpkin Search

Drew found his pumpkin after a long time of searching.

Jonathan found his pumpkin.

Jacob had a hard time deciding which pumpkin he was going to take home.

We went out to Judd pumpkin patch. It is always so great to see the many beautiful pumpkins. This year the squash bugs got many of the pumpkins plus many people had gone before so you had to really look for the best pumpkin. We had a great time going to get our pumpkin.

So before it turned extra cold we went up to Canyon Park and took some pictures with our fall leaves. We could not go up the mountain to far because it is closed from a landslide. Emma is always the best model. She looks so good with out with her braces off. She is all smiles.

Drew is doing so well in school. And he is again happy yea.

My sweet children I love the times they get along. Sometimes it might before bedtime and they are wound up but I love that they love to talk to each other.

Spider Time

This little Spider was climbing just outside the window. And the kids were looking out the window they thought it was so cool how this spider was moving. And what it was doing. It was so cool just to see something different. And to take a moment of nature just right outside our window. Then we looked up and the cars on the highway had stopped. It was thursday and some of the sheep got out from the auction and they were all over the road. It was quite the excitement on the road and the sheep did not want to get caught. It was fun to see them rope and tie up the sheep.

Wedding

We meet Forrest when we lived in Lakewood Colorado. We had a great time hanging out with him and his wife Laura which at that time they only had one child and we had just Emma so it was fun to do things together as new little families. . So through the power of face book we got back in touch with each other. And he invited us to attend his 2nd wedding to Jennie. This was a beautiful day down in St. George. The weather was just perfect. We had just come down from Cedar City. So it was nice to be down in the Sunshine.

Happy 78 Birthday

Uncle Raymond had his 78 Birthday. He was all smiles. When you talk about his old gifts he will go find them and bring them out. So we were talking how warm he was going to be in his hats.

He thought that was pretty funny. I was asking what kind of fur it was and that I wanted one and he said that they were his.

He wanted a cell phone. So we got him walkie talkies instead. I think they would be a good thing to have.

He had a good birthday. He was happy about most of the things he got which were jerky, balloons, tools.

Drew modeling clay

Drew recently just pulled out his modeling clay. And of course he just loves Diary of a Wimpy Kid. I loved that he has started drawing and using his modeling clay.

Going up to Lehi

As we were driving up highway 6 we saw all the beautiful fall colors. It was just amazing the colors.

The we got to see the biggest windmills. They are quite the sight coming out of the canyon.

This is why we came up to Lehi. Matt VanDamm and his family were having an Annadale Reunion with all those that live in Utah and those that are visiting. It was way fun to see and meet more people that Jonathan went to church with. We have seen some of these people when we have gone back to Virginia to visit for Christmas. They had 3 bishops there, Bishop VanDamm , Bishop Evans, Bishop Snyder. It was a fun Reunion.

The kids had a great time together eating and playing tag and football. They all got along so well. It was fun to see Cynthia Evans she just moved from Texas to SLC. And of course we got to see Thal Dixon the kids were so glad to see him and his children. They thought his oldest was the best.

Seeing Nana

For General Conference we decided go see our Nana. Which it is always fun to go on a road trip. Especially when you get to see your Nana. We were able to pick Apples and then make applesauce and everyone helped do the work. We even were able to help Nana do a few projects.

Nana was so nice she feed us so well. And we were also able to watch Soul Surfer together. We have the best Nana ever she is so kind and very loving to us.

Nana yard got yard of the month. We even got to ride the 4wheeler up to the cool trails.

Ward Party

The church looked so good. Thanks Michelle for doing such a good job on the decorations.

We had 7 fun games to play.

The boys loved the photo booth.

So I was asked to plan and have these wonderful sisters help me plan our ward party. Which by the way they are my friends. So it was awesome. They were great to work with. We had a fun party. We had sloppy Joe's a yummy recipe by Jane and chips and salad and yummy cobbler made by some great men in our ward. We had a cake walk, Popcorn and cotton candy. We had 7 fun games ran by the Young Women and we had face painting and a photo booth with props. It turned out great. And so many people said that they had a great time.

The kids love to go and help and pick up the other siblings when it means a minute to go play in the park. I was so happy I brought my camera. The pictures turned out great. The kids are growing up so fast. They have enjoyed this great weather that we have been having lately.

Emma as a Cedar Redmen cheerleader

Emma and her friend decided that it would be fun to be cheerleaders for the CHS game. They went to practise all week and then got to perform during half time. She had a great time. And she did a great job. Emma is so brave I love that she will try new things and has a fun time doing it. She is one awesome girl.

Cedar had a great game and they won. Which makes it even better. Way to go Emma.
