what I want my kitchen to look like

I love the way the bar looks.

This is what I have been thinking about lately. I saw this on http://sassystyleredesign.blogspot.com. And I think I could make it work in my kitchen.
I would really like to know what you all think. The back splash is bead board wall paper.

    It looks nice but use the real thing...I have removed enough wall paper in kitchens over time after moving in...don't do wall paper. It is sooo hard to take off when you change your mind or sell.

    I think it looks really cute!! We have a similar kitchen, but definitely don't do wall paper...it stinks to get off. We used real bead board for our backsplah....I love it and get lots of compliments!
