April General Conference

We will never forget this General Conference because  President Monson announced that Cedar City Utah would be getting a Temple we jumped and cheered for Joy. We are so excited. What a blessing it will be in our lives.

SUU Watermelon Bash

Jonathan, Emma and I meet this great guy up to Girls Camp.

He is a returned missionary and he is from Las Vegas. He is going to 

be a great football player.

We saw Cooper he is such a great kid.

Jacob had a great time defending the goal.

All the teams were there plus there was a ton of watermelon.

Family Festival

It was the Family Festival this weekend. So we were down town

and they started with the Red Wagon Parade. So it was fun to see some

of our friends in the Parade.

Emma still loves the Princess. 

It is so fun when you know the Princess with Makayla Cox and Brooke Hyde.

These boys are growing up a little to fast.

Later this night we went to the Heritage center where I was asked to read my nomination for first place. The Denise and Jerald Demille family with their Daughters. They are the Directors for Emma's play. They won first place and we got a gift basket for nominating them. We were super busy on Saturday.

Emma making pies

For one of Emma YW projects she wanted to help make the pies so Nana helped her make the lattice crust and homemade apple pie. And for the bottom we made the crust with cinnamon rolls. She had a great time in doing this project. The thing we all learned with the apple pie that the pie had to much juice and  we put the cherry and the apple together.  Which flowed over into the oven. Which did not make the oven  to happy. This made for a great lesson. Make sure you bake one pie at a time and clean the oven  before you do a lot of  baking.

Roller Skating

Drew was invited to a skate party. Jacob and I also came in and skated. The boys had a great time skating. This was their first time. They had a blast. I even got on some skates. It reminder me when I was younger and would go skating with my Aunts in the summer time. We would have so much fun. I even got a pair of skates for my birthday. So this was a very fun activity to go skating. Emma came later that night. She is now a pro she has been about 4 times. And just loves it.  They love the artwork on the walls and they loved all the music.

Fun In the Sun

The kids love to go and help and pick up the other siblings when it means a minute to go play in the park. I was so happy I brought my camera. The pictures turned out great.  The kids are growing up so fast. They  have enjoyed this great weather that we have been having lately.

2011

I saw this idea. and I knew I had to do it. We are missing one pair of feet. But this is the year you can do it. and it is way fun plus the kids get to shoot the picture. You just write the 20 with chalk and use your feet. And you get great pictures.

Big glasses

Having some fun. We had to try on these glasses to see if they were going to work for the photo booth for the ward party. Do you like the lens in or out? Jacob had a fun time with me trying them on. We had a good time looking at all the things for the photo booth.
